Rainwater often gets down into the spindle cavity and rusts anyplace that grease has not managed to reach. This can be a real problem as it often causes spindles to freeze so hard that the steering pump and cylinder can not overcome the rust resistance. It causes expensive steering component failures.

A simple rain cap will keep the rainwater out of your spindle. It helps to prevent rust buildup and spindle seizure. Order a set on our maintenance page! Be sure to mention your spindle cap diameter. You will need 2" or 2 1/2" or 2 3/4"
T5D Strainer screen! Now stocking the Strainer screen for the T5D, it's a different size than the ones used on other models.
